Graduate Role and Responsibilities Some of the duties you will be involved in are: Work as part of a team, liaising with external field adjusters and other areas of the business. Processing and actioning mail and claim-related documentation. Capture all information regarding the claim accurately and promptly. Update records with all relevant documentation, maintaining Web Elite. Contributing toward the success of the team and individual SLA’s. Assisting Section Head, Line Managers, and team members to nurture an excellent team environment. Claimant relationship management & Third-party relationship management – ensuring continuity of contact and arranging appointments. In collaboration with claims support colleagues, conducting necessary pre-site inspection investigations and entering results and updates on the electronic file system. Based on a comprehensive grasp of the case and liaising with claim support colleagues, communicating an action plan to the claimant and/or third parties – specifying actions, time frames, and deadlines. In collaboration with claim support colleagues, monitoring the life cycle of a claim and progress chasing (ensuring fulfilment of action plans). Applying policy cover, terms and conditions. Preparing reports on the claim under investigation. Arranging interim payments, examining costs and achieving a settlement. Identifying suspect or fraudulent claims and dealing with the same in accordance with fraud guidelines. Recording and resolving customer complaints. Management of Client accounts, compilation of reports and attendance at Client meetings Proactive end to end management of a portfolio of files with specific closure and quality targets. Be flexible with time and willing to get involved in other areas of the business as requested by management, including travelling to other locations if necessary. Represent the business in a professional and positive manner at all times.
