The successful candidates will be provided with the opportunity to support individuals with independent living skills, community inclusion and the promotion of their personal health and wellbeing. We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Support Workers to support, encourage and motivate individuals to lead a fulfilling life . Requirements: · Knowledge of New Directions. · A valid licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland. · Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism. · Excellent organisational, logistical and I.T skills an advantage. · Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role. · Experience of working with people with a range of support needs to include behaviours of concern. Purpose of the Post The post of CNM3 is instrumental in the co-ordination and management of activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities of the CNM3 (PIC) include resource management, ensuring a safe effective service to patients, staffing and staff development, standard setting and monitoring, facilitating communication and education and providing professional/clinical leadership in the area. Close working relationships exist with the multidisciplinary team. Fellow In Perinatal Genetics And Genomics
The National Maternity Hospital is seeking applications from suitability qualified persons for the post of Fellow in Perinatal Genetics and Genomics. The ideal candidate will hold a Medical degree and will have completed their training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. An Msc along with demonstrable evidence of an interest in genetics are desirable. This role will report to the HOD, Prenatal Clinical Genetics and Genomics. Skills and Abilities: phlebotomy, good communication skills, ability to work as part of an MDT and liaise with stakeholders in laboratories internationally with consultant support, competent with Excel, Desirable: ability to develop teaching material for SpR colleagues and other medical staff, to develop the database with support. Knowledge: basic knowledge of genetics and be willing to engage in structured teaching to learn more knowledge of MDT working including with Fetal medicine, recurrent miscarriage and neonatology. Responsibilities & Accountabilities (in no particular order of priority) Flexibility: This post requires a high level of flexibility to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service. Therefore the post holder will be required to demonstrate flexibility on occasion as and when required by their manager.
Clinical Directorate Senior Nurse Manager
The Clinical Directorate Senior Nurse Manager will work as part of the Clinical Directorate Senior Management Team and with other directorates to ensure the delivery of the hospital’s objectives. The post-holder will provide strategic clinical and professional leadership (in conjunction with the Clinical Lead and Operations Manager) and play a key role in the delivery of operational performance targets, waiting list and financial management and bed utilisation/management. The post-holder will also provide the strategic direction for the future development of nursing within the Directorate, including the development of nurse led initiatives, research and practice development.
