Production Supervisor
Job Title: Night shift Production Supervisor Salary: Starting salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Location: This role will be based at HQ, Kilwaughter, Co. Antrim. Purpose: Working in a busy production environment, you will play a key role to deliver manufacturing excellence and continuous improvements through people, plant and process - specifically health, safety and wellbeing, customer experience, quality and process improvement. The focus of this role will be to coach and mentor the team to deepen cross skilling and knowledge, build on developing employee pride and drive forward a customer-focused and continuous improvement culture. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Take responsibility for health, safety, and well-being to deliver a safety-first culture. Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are complied with in accordance with the company’s requirements. · Maintain all records, documentation in compliance with health and safety, environmental, production metrics, maintenance requests, hex boards, and ONUS. · Responsibility for managing daily, weekly and monthly workflows to meet production targets and ensure 100% OTIF. Ensuring all production data is collected and recorded correctly at the start and end of each shift. · Oversee production activities, solving problems and putting in place improvements to avoid reoccurrence of the same problems. Working alongside other support departments to drive continuous improvement. · Monitor and improve production processes to ensure maximum output and efficiency. Introduce LEAN activities/techniques to further drive continuous improvement through daily activities. · Deepen skills and knowledge of Operators by continuing to build on a culture of cross-skilling ensuring optimum levels of cross-skilling in critical areas of the plant. · Responsibility for housekeeping to ensure all production areas are maintained to consistent levels of excellence and deepen employee pride in their areas of work. · Oversee and conduct daily meetings to communicate key performance areas, production targets and relevant information relating to the department and the Organisation. · Provide Supervision to the team to create a performance culture by coaching and mentoring to enhance overall team effectiveness. · Collaborate with the Warehousing Manager to build on a culture where the brand is represented through exceptional presentation and hygiene standards for all finished products. · Demonstrate resiliency and ambition to build and drive sustainable manufacturing excellence. · Act an ambassador for our company values and behaviours Education · Educated to at least GCSE level.
