Job Purpose: The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall management of the branch and the achievement of all financial targets within his/her branch. Key Tasks Required: 1. Operational Management Ø Planning, organising, staffing, directing and controlling of all branch staff Ø Maximise the branch's potential by ensuring all branch and financial targets are met Ø Ensure that all branch staff fully adhere to correct procedures in relation tasks and stock management Ø Maintain all costs within targeted figures Ø Regularly review all costs and look for opportunities to reduce Ø Ensure all stock is maintained and regularly audited 2. Staff Management Ø Identify recruitment needs within budget and process with support from Human Resources Department Ø Conduct annual employee appraisals for all branch staff and provide regular feedback to all staff on their performance Ø Coach and motivate branch staff to ensure they meet business demand and targets set Ø Develop and encourage positive working relationships within the branch and where issues arise resolve them, or if unable, escalate to their Regional Manager 3. Business Development Ø Promote at every opportunity to existing and potential customers the range of services that we provide Ø Develop relationships with existing and potential customers to retain and grow branch business Ø Bring forward ideas/suggestions for new products or services that could generate additional revenue Ø Responsible for entire branch performance reporting weekly sales to area manager 4. Quality Management Ø Responsible of the housekeeping of the branch Ø Responsible for staff uniform compliance Ø To deliver excellent customer service at all times (phone/face to face) Ø Ensure good work practices are being followed in the branch and all technical guidelines are being adhered to - following the policy of getting it right first time. 5. Health and Safety Management Ø Ensure full compliance by all floor staff with health and safety/environmental policies and procedures Ø Ensure full compliance by all floor staff with safety/environmental legislation. Job Role We’re recruiting a Senior Accommodation Support Officer to provide support to our dynamic team as they assist our participants with their housing needs through effective interventions. Our team of Accommodation Support Officers work within the criminal justice system, in either a custodial or community setting. As a senior, you will line manage a localised team and we will hold a amount of our more complex cases. We’ll need your excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with referral agencies third party providers and stakeholders. You’ll also be responsible for developing high-quality practice among the team through observing and auditing practice, and then providing coaching and mentoring workshops to enable them to develop. Your performance will be measured against key contractual targets. Our successful candidate will ideally already have experience working in housing and homelessness sector.
