Pest Control Service Technician
Elis Pest Control, part of Elis NI, provides services for the control of rodents, insects, pest birds, stored product insects and specified pest mammals. The vast majority of work is carried out in commercial premises where a service contract has been taken out in order to maintain pest-free conditions.

We are currently recruiting for a Pest Control Service Technician for Antrim/Glengormley/ Ballyclare area.
The service technician will be visiting customers' premises in a cyclical nature to carry out inspections and maintain pest free conditions as specified in the customer’s contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out inspections and appropriate treatments on our client premises.
- Produce clear and accurate written reports on completion of each visit.
- Verbally communicate with and advise clients in a knowledgeable and concise manner.
- Work methodically and utilise problem solving skills.
- Carry out minor proofing work, where required, to prevent pest entry.
- Complete any work to the standards expected by both the company and client.
Skills/Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 G.C.S.E’s (minimum grade C) (Essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be confident in dealing with customers and have a friendly, approachable manner.
- Reside, or be prepared to reside, in the general area of the location to be covered.
- Have good practical ability and confidence in working at heights.
- Must have a valid UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years, with no more than 6 penalty points (Essential)
- Competent in producing clear and concise written reports.
- I.T. proficient
- Well organised, with the ability to plan own workload and operate unsupervised.
- Must be prepared to study and attain the RSPH Level 2 certificate in Pest Control (all training provided by NPC).
