We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and driven to have a career in hairdressing with their main goal to have a complete understanding of the creative, practical and technical side of your craft. Position available for a first year apprentice through the national hairdressing apprenticeship programme. This is a dual learning position where you will perfect your craft both in the salon and in a college environment. On successful completion you will receive a QQI level 6 on the national framework of qualifications. This qualification is recognized both nationally and internationally. The successful applicatant must be hardworking, committed to their learning program and have good customer service skills. Fluent English is necessary and a Minimum NFQ level 4 qualification, such as a leaving certificate applied, a QQI level 4 major award, or recognised equivalent. Apprentice Electricians
Key Responsibilities You will be learning and developing new and practical craft-related skills, knowledge and competence by: Assembly and installation of electrical equipment using hand tools and power tools. Pulling, glanding and termination of cabling systems Diagnosis of malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a fault and correct the problem. Installation of Cable management systems e.g. cable ladder/tray Installation of HV circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
