AIIHPC is a collaborative of hospices, health and social care organisations, charities and universities on the island of Ireland. AIIHPC’s aim, with our twenty-seven member organisations, is to ensure excellent palliative care is available for everyone at the right time and place across the island of Ireland. ‘Programme Manager – Education and Practice’ The Programme Manager Education and Practice is a senior post within AIIHPC supporting the AIIHPC CEO to advance the AIIHPC‘s key strategic role within the hospice and palliative care environment across the two jurisdictions (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland) in line with AIIHPC’s values, aims and objectives. The Programme Manager Education and Practice supports AIIHPC’s member organisations and key stakeholders in developing innovative and engaging palliative care education across undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development for health and social care professionals and programmes targeted for the wider public. The post holder will also support practice based programmes including quality improvement initiatives and Communities of Practice targeted at specialist palliative care. Reporting to AIIHPC’s CEO, the post-holder will focus on strategic implementation and operational issues facilitating the AIIHPC Education and Practice work programme. The post-holder will work collaboratively as part of the AIIHPC team. The post will be filled on a whole-time, indefinite duration (permanent) basis.
