The role will require you to develop a varied skillset, including: - Following company procedures for the set-up and operation of dispense/labelling lines. - Following company procedures for the dispensing and labelling of a range of diagnostic products. - Maintaining the relevant documentation. - Carry out routine maintenance of an automated dispense/labelling line. - Trouble-shooting basic problems relevant to the automated dispense/labelling line. - Maintenance and upkeep of equipment and instruments used in association with the automated dispense and labelling lines. - Full on the job training will be provided on our processes. The DNA Role As a Forensic Scientist Grade III, you will be assigned to the DNA and Biological Analysis department. This is the area of most sustained growth and technological developments within FSI. DNA and biological analysis is an effective means to investigate crime ranging from crimes against property (i.e. burglaries, unlawful takings) through to the more serious cases of crimes against the person (i.e. sexual assaults, shootings, murders and armed robberies). Blood Pattern Analysis (BPA) and the examination of damage to clothing is also carried out in the area ​​​​​​​The Chemical/ Physical Analysis Role As a Forensic Scientist Grade III, you will be assigned to the Physical Analysis or Chemical Analysis department.
