The role will require you to develop a varied skillset, including: - Following company procedures for the set-up and operation of dispense/labelling lines. - Following company procedures for the dispensing and labelling of a range of diagnostic products. - Maintaining the relevant documentation. - Carry out routine maintenance of an automated dispense/labelling line. - Trouble-shooting basic problems relevant to the automated dispense/labelling line. - Maintenance and upkeep of equipment and instruments used in association with the automated dispense and labelling lines. - Full on the job training will be provided on our processes. Our Biochip team manufacture products for use across our Biochip Array Technology Analysers including Evidence, Investigator, MultiStat and Evolution. Our cutting-edge technology is used in Laboratories and Hospitals to diagnose health tests as wells as veterinary samples, and food testing. Location : 44 Largy Road, Crumlin, BT29 4RN. Contract Offered : Full-time, permanent. Working Hours / Shifts : 40 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 4x10 hours, including night shifts. What does the Production Operator role involve? The role of Production Operator will be working on the production of the Randox Biochip Array products. Key duties: - Calibration and maintenance of equipment - The operation and troubleshooting of automated production lines involved in the assembly of instrument specific Biochip Array products. - The accurate completion of manufacturing and stock records. - Completion and recording of manufacturing outputs for KPIs - The cleaning down of machines and the work area in accordance with standard operating procedures. - Monitoring of the cleanroom environment to process defined specifications - Assisting in the training of staff in departmental procedures and systems. - The alerting of the Biochip formulation Team Leader and Manager to any problems in the manufacture or testing of Biochip products and highlighting any non-conformances - Accurate identification and removal of rejected biochips during assembly process - High quality sealing and accurate labelling of Biochip Array products On the job training will be provided on our processes. What does the Phlebotomist role involve? This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). - Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. - Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. - Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. - Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. - Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. - Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. - Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks. Kildare (See candidate booklet) Salary : Starting at €38,083 (see candidate information booklet for full details) Our client the Forensic Science Ireland, Department of Justice are currently seeking Forensic Scientist Grade III's in the DNA and Biological Analysis and Chemical/Physical Analysis departments. The DNA Role As a Forensic Scientist Grade III, you will be assigned to the DNA and Biological Analysis department. This is the area of most sustained growth and technological developments within FSI. DNA and biological analysis is an effective means to investigate crime ranging from crimes against property (i.e. burglaries, unlawful takings) through to the more serious cases of crimes against the person (i.e. sexual assaults, shootings, murders and armed robberies). Blood Pattern Analysis (BPA) and the examination of damage to clothing is also carried out in the area The Chemical/ Physical Analysis Role As a Forensic Scientist Grade III, you will be assigned to the Physical Analysis or Chemical Analysis department. The Physical Analysis Department was created in 2019, when the Chemistry section in FSI was merged with Fingerprint and Handwriting and Document analysis, formerly under the authority of An Garda Síochána. This area has experienced unprecedented investment in modern technology and software for the detection of Latent Marks from crime scenes, Gunshot residue from shooting incidents and scientific evaluative opinion in trace evidence, such as Fibres, Paint and Glass investigations.
