Role Profile We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join Tirlán at our plant in Virginia Co Cavan. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will see you working as part of a team to ensure the highest levels of Maintenance Electrical work are adhered to on the Virginia site. Responsibilities · To maintain Plant and Equipment at Optimum performance and provide utilities to Manufacturing Department and General Plant to achieve yearly plan. · Support all site Automation systems & act as a champion for these processes. · Ability to interact with suppliers, customers and external contractors. · Follow all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations in the plant. · Report any current or potential hazards to your immediate supervisor/dept. manager immediately. · The correct Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) must be worn at all times. Consult the appropriate SOP where required. · The Electrican is responsible for consulting any SOP’s for any job task he/she may carry out and ensure they fully understand and adhere to the SOP. · Carry out maintenance and trouble shooting on plant and equipment & support RCA’s. · Carry out installation and commissioning of plant and equipment. · Use diagnostic tools for condition monitoring of Plant and Equipment. · Carry out engineering work orders in a timely and safe manner while maintaining adherence to GMP and full compliance with procedures. · Complete all work order forms in full. · Carry out plant preventative maintenance programme as scheduled. · Follow correct procedure when carrying out hotwork & confined space entry ensuring work permits are fully complete and in compliance with SOP’s. · Develop in-depth working knowledge of all plant equipment. · Maintain equipment in utilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. · Assist in the development and training of apprentices. · Perform a detailed hand over of work to colleagues when shift completed. · To support plant on all business excellence activities. · Coordinate the development of documentation in all areas in line with ISO9001, ISO 14001 requirements. · Perform additional duties at the request of the direct Manager. · This list of responsibilities may change depending on plant needs and employees are expected to be adaptable and flexible where this need arises. . Ensure all housekeeping activities are observed and carried out appropriately. It is important that the Electrican is in adherence to the Housekeeping SOP.
