About The Role

Kerry’s Business Integrity and Legal Operations team is growing and is looking for an Ethics and Compliance Operations Specialist to support and oversee ongoing compliance activities in Kerry Group’s Business Integrity program.

In this position, you will provide legal and operations support and guidance for compliance programs across global, local, and team levels. You will have proven experience monitoring and evaluating governance and risk, while also providing solutions and updated policies to stay in compliance.

Key areas of focus include competition, sanctions, anti-bribery, and corruption (ABC), anti-money laundering (AML), fraud awareness, political engagement, human rights, gifts and entertainment, conflicts of interest, and whistleblowing.

Kerry operates a Hybrid working policy, candidates will be required to work from our offices in Naas each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Ethics and Compliance team members to maintain and develop Kerry’s Business Integrity program in line with regulatory and legislative obligations and good industry practice.
  • Play a lead role in testing and monitoring program controls to ensure key controls are working effectively across global processes and functions.
  • Supporting the management of risk assessment processes related to ethics and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain policy governance framework and version control on ethics and compliance policies and procedures. Support the delivery, communication, and embedding of policies and procedures.
  • Manage the triage, reporting and systems maintenance of Kerry’s Speak up whistleblower hotline. Coordinate with local/regional investigators to manage accurate tracking of cases. Work with investigators as needed on cases, including creation of adequate documentation.
  • Assist with ethics and compliance inquiries, incidents, and requests (internally and externally), including execution of global third-party compliance due diligence and screening.
  • Develop repositories of historic ethics and compliance interpretative positions, advice, and determinations.
  • Support team communications strategy and events.
  • Support roll out of ethics and compliance training globally and coordinate with internal stakeholders as required.
  • Creation of ethics and compliance specific procedures and co-ordination of team templates to achieve enhanced operational efficiencies.
  • Other ethics and compliance related duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong relevant experience in a Compliance/Risk Operations/Finance role.
  • Project Management experience desirable.
  • Strong analysis and presentation skills.
  • Experience collaborating on initiatives with business teams spread across time zones in multiple locations.
