The service aims to extend the circles of mainstream supports for the child or adult and family to access community links and social participation. The service is registered with the National Home Share Network (NHSN) and has been developed in line with 2016 HSE National Guidelines. The Role The Home Sharing Link Professionally Qualified Social Worker is committed to the ongoing mission of Horizons to develop different types of short breaks or respite services in an innovative, inclusive and person centred way. The appointee will be knowledgeable in all relevant legislation and will demonstrate an in-depth working knowledge of Models of Services, Advocacy, the Principles of Social Work Practice and CORU standards of proficiency.
