Events & Marketing Coordinator
The Friends of the National Gallery of Ireland (FNGI) was established in 1986 to support the activities of the Gallery by recruiting membership, to encourage an appreciation of painting, sculpture and architecture. It is a self-funding organisation with a charitable status (RCN 20158958). It is committed to promoting the Gallery and its collections and to expanding awareness and appreciation of the visual arts through a range of educational and social events. Purpose of the Role Deliver care in line with the five core concepts of the role set out in the Framework for the Establishment of Clinical Nurse Specialist Posts, 4th edition, National Council for the Professional Development of Nursing and Midwifery (NCNM) 2008 Caseload e.g. Children - under 16 years of age. The CNS will focus initially on the following patient groups: Child and Adolescent Mental Health service Essential Criteria: Be a registered nurse on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by An Bord Altranais and Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be eligible to be so registered AND Be registered in the division(s) of the Childrens Nursing with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann OR In exceptional circumstances, which will be assessed on a case by case basis be registered in another Division of the register of Nurses and Midwives. Microbiology, Registrar
Contract info: Commencing 14th July 2025. 12 month contract. 19.5 hours per week. The Microbiology Department in the Mater Hospital provides a clinical microbiology service to the hospital and general practice in the catchment area. Services include bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, tuberculosis, and a molecular diagnostic service. The Microbiology department has four Consultant Clinical Microbiologists, three Specialists Registrars, and two Registrars. Microbiology registrars are well supervised, with several consultant led multi -disciplinary team meetings (MDTs) weekly. These include daily MDTs in the intensive care unit, in addition to Vascular MDTs, Heart and Lung transplant MDTs, Orthopaedic MDTs, Haematology MDTs, and Infectious Diseases MDTS. Duties of the post include authorizing laboratory results, phoning critical results, seeing patients on consults, attending MDTs, and attending meetings. Training: The Microbiology Registrar post has excellent training opportunities, and provides a pathway to the higher specialist training in clinical microbiology. Microbiology registrars work closely with Specialist registrars in microbiology, and are closely supervised by Consultant Microbiologists. Participation in laboratory management meetings, infection prevention and control meetings and antimicrobial stewardship meeting provide valuable training experience in microbiology. Microbiology registrars are active in clinical audit and projects in the microbiology department in the Mater Hospital. Teaching is actively encouraged to include teaching laboratory scientists in training, infection prevention and control nurses, and teaching non-consultant hospital doctors. Summary Job Purpose The Chester Beatty wishes to recruit an Executive Assistant for the Director’s Office. This new role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced executive assistant to join this busy and dynamic office at the heart of the museum. WHAT WE OFFER • Start Date of employment will be: May 2025 • Competitive hourly rate of €15.25, with an additional €2 per hour for forklift allowance after relevant training is completed, night shift allowance €2.50 per hour between 4am and 6 am and a Sunday premium of time & a half. • Contract size of 30 hours per week working 5 days over 7 with 1 in 4 weekends off – working hours are 4am-10am • We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE • Counterbalance and reach driver experience. • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to priorities and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail. • Proven experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency. • Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team. • Due to health and safety regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY • Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes, manual handling of heavy stock, receiving goods with accuracy and keeping accurate records of stock levels. • Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse. • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
