IKEA Dublin (Ballymun) are looking to welcome an experienced Reach Driver as a Warehouse Assistant to join our hard-working fulfilment team.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Start Date of employment will be: May 2025

• Competitive hourly rate of €15.25, with an additional €2 per hour for forklift allowance after relevant training is completed, night shift allowance €2.50 per hour between 4am and 6 am and a Sunday premium of time & a half.

• Contract size of 30 hours per week working 5 days over 7 with 1 in 4 weekends off – working hours are 4am-10am

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Counterbalance and reach driver experience.

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to priorities and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.

• Proven experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.

• Due to health and safety regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes, manual handling of heavy stock, receiving goods with accuracy and keeping accurate records of stock levels.

• Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.

• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
