Senior Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapist

Background: The Mater Misericordae University Hospital (MMUH) is a model 4 teaching hospital committed to providing the highest quality service to all our patients with compassion and professionalism. We work closely with our academic partner University College Dublin to deliver cutting edge research that has a direct impact on patient care and also supporting clinical education at an undergraduate and post graduate level. In April 2021 the Mater hospital was designated Major Trauma Centre for the Central Trauma Network. Outpatient physiotherapy is based on the main MMUH campus and at Smithfield Minor injuries unit and the post-holder may be required to work across both sites. The out-patient physiotherapy service at MMUH provides treatment for a wide range of orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and rheumatological conditions referred from hospital consultants (Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Fracture service, Plastics, Emergency Department, Smithfield Minor injuries unit, Pain, Occupational Health, MSK triage service and other specialities).
