Senior Occupational Therapist, Care Of The Older Person

The Therapist will have responsibility for provision of specialised out-patient Occupational Therapy Service for the Care of the Older Service. This service is part of the wider Care of the Older Person Occupational Therapy service which comprises the Frailty Intervention Team (FIT), the Acute Medical Assessment Unit, the Specialist Geriatric Ward and specialist off site post-acute care service. There is a strong MDT focus across the services with the use of the Comprehensive geriatric assessment from ED throughout, with a home first ethos. Clinical input may be required into other speciality service from time to time.
