The successful candidate will have: Essential Criteria: · Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU. AND · Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. AND · Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued. Annual registration · On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU AND · Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland. Desirable Criteria: · Post graduate work experience as a Physiotherapist. · Experience of interdisciplinary team working. · Experience working with children with disabilities and their families. · Any relevant post graduate training specific to child disability services. e.g. Hanen, Lamh, PECS, ADOS, AT training. · Experience in working with Assistive Technology. · Post graduate experience in a public sector health service. · Experience working on or completing a placement with a CDNT. · Relevant voluntary experience working with children or people with disabilities.
