The role of a Day Services Facilitator Day Services Facilitators work as members of a team to develop schemes of work and learning programmes in line with national guidelines. They are responsible for planning, preparing and delivering these programmes to a range of classes, ensuring their suitability for the individual needs and abilities of people supported by the services. They encourage, monitor and record the progress of individuals, and devise and adapt resources to suit their students. Day Services Facilitators must also keep up to date with developments in their subject areas, new resources and methods. The prime consideration is always the welfare and wellbeing of the people supported by the services. The role of a Day Services Team Leader The person appointed will be responsible for leading the Day Service team in Parkside Services, Waterford. The person appointed should have the ability to proactively lead the team and inspire and motivate the ongoing development of effective teamwork. The team will facilitate the choices of and deliver supports to people who use services incorporating activities such as independent living skills, community integration, personal development, occupational and leisure activities within the context of the New Direction Model of Service Delivery. Main purpose of the role:, Responsible for the preparation of high quality hot and cold deli products and for ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority.
