Computing Services maintain an enterprise scale networks, systems, applications and data infrastructure. It is also responsible for the delivery of end user services to the staff, learners and researchers of the University. SETU’s Carlow Campus is now seeking to recruit an ICT Technical Officer to support and maintain the university’s network infrastructure. The job requires an energetic, enthusiastic individual with a broadbased knowledge of enterprise level ICT systems, networking and associated technologies. The Network Technical Officer will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting SETU’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of networking technologies, experience with network security, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
