Clinical Nurse Manager II, Operational Emergency Department
Purpose of the Role: The Clinical Nurse Manager II has a pivotal role in supporting the CNM III in the co-ordination, strategic planning and management of nursing activities and staff resources within the Emergency department at CHI Temple Street. The post holder will work within a risk management framework to achieve HIQA Safer Better Healthcare standards. The post holder will provide professional and managerial leadership, particularly in the areas of staff development and future planning, ensuring that nursing practices allow the achievement of local, hospital and national objectives in the area of the Paediatric Emergency department. Eligibility criteria, qualifications, and experience: 1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc. (a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: (i) Are registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) or entitled to be so registered. Maintenance Operative 6 Months fixed term contract – Full-time 37 hours per week. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends when required is essential. This role will be based in Clontarf and other CRC sites as required. The Maintenance Operative will be based in our Clontarf Centre and will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate will undertake duties as directed to support the upkeep and maintenance of facilities at the CRC. Working with the Maintenance Supervisor, the responsibility will extend to other CRC sites as required. Temporary Consultant Paediatric Anaesthesiologist
Purpose of role: This is a newly funded post that will join the current team of anaesthesiologists in Crumlin At present, the consultants are providing anaesthesia cover to 8 theatres, 1 cardiac catheterisation suite, CT screening room, Nuclear Medicine and MRI. General Anaesthesiology for off-site radiotherapy in St. Luke’s (500 cases per year requiring consultant Anaesthesiologist presence) is also provided in addition to remote intrathecal chemotherapy list within Crumlin Hospital. CHI-Crumlin anaesthesiologists also provide acute pain cover and oversee a growing pre-anaesthetic assessment service. This post is required in order to support the demand for theatre and the need to reduce waiting lists.
