Maintenance Operative
6 Months fixed term contract – Full-time 37 hours per week. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends when required is essential. This role will be based in Clontarf and other CRC sites as required.
The Maintenance Operative will be based in our Clontarf Centre and will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate will undertake duties as directed to support the upkeep and maintenance of facilities at the CRC. Working with the Maintenance Supervisor, the responsibility will extend to other CRC sites as required.
The successful applicant will have the following essential criteria:
- Full clean driving license (D1 driving license an advantage)
- Two years relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong awareness and evidence of experience of Health &Safety
- IT skills to include email, word and excel an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills to include planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Be an excellent and innovative team member with a strong commitment to the empowerment of people with a disability.
- A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
It must be clearly demonstrated in your CV and supporting statement how you meet the required skills, competencies and knowledge for the post. Department of Health Salary applies Porter grade code 4197 (€34,195-€41,723).
