
EY Ireland to create 900 jobs across seven offices
Consultancy firm EY has announced the creation of 900 jobs on the island of Ireland.
It said that 550 positions will be for experienced hires, while 350 will be filled by new university graduates.
The roles are available across EY's seven offices on the island of Ireland.
Candidates are being recruited to fill a wide variety of jobs across the areas of tax, audit, corporate finance and consulting, as well as in new growth areas, including technology consulting, digital and emerging technology, data analytics, cyber security, sustainability, law, strategy and transformation.
EY said that the majority of the 350 university graduates who were offered roles this financial year are now in the process of being onboarded, with the remainder due to take up their new positions over the coming months.
"Our plan to increase our current headcount on the island of Ireland from 4,200 to 5,100 people is hugely exciting for us," said Frank O'Keeffe, Managing Partner at the company.
"Strong client demand for our services gives us confidence to continue with our ambitious growth plans," he added.
EY is also reporting record revenues on the island of Ireland of €536 million for the financial year to 30 June 2022, this represents a 26% increase on last year.
The company said it saw a strong performance across all four of its service lines of assurance, consulting, tax and law, and strategy and transactions in its offices in Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford.
Globally, EY has reported revenues of $45.4 billion.
