About us The National Screening Service (NSS) delivers four national population-based screening programmes – for cervical, breast and bowel screening and for detecting sight-threatening retinopathy in people with diabetes. Our programmes focus on looking for early signs of disease in healthy people, so that we can: This campaign is confined to staff who are currently employed by the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies*, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004 as per Workplace Relations Commission agreement -161867 The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience: Have two years satisfactory experience in an office under the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004 at a level not lower than that of Grade IV (or equivalent). And Have not less than two years satisfactory experience either in that office or in an office at a level not lower than that of Clerical Officer in the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004. And Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office. Consultant Paediatrician S I Metabolic Disorders
Purpose of role: This post is a recently funded 5th consultant Paediatrician SI metabolic disorders and will join the current team of consultants. The appointee will act as a consultant paediatricians with SI in IMDs at CHI and will play a full role in the provision of an out- patient and in patient service within the metabolic service. The post holder will work in close co-operation with the existing staff members to ensure seamless cover for patients allocated to their care. In addition, the post holder will work flexibly to support and further develop and progress existing clinical, administrative, teaching and research duties undertaken by the team. A key purpose of this role is to progress outreach services to enable more children to receive care closer to home Essential Criteria: Professional Qualifications and Experience Professional Qualifications (a). Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the speciality of paediatrics. And (b). The ideal candidate will have at least two years supervisory experience in a high volume 4* or 5* hotel or quality focused restaurant and will display the ability to lead and motivate a team; a strong commitment to quality, high standards, service and customer care.
