Role: Quality Development Officer Location: Tullamore or Mullingar (Hybrid working may be available after 12 weeks employment) Tenure: Permanent (Full-time) The Quality Development Officer will work with the QRS Manager to drive quality improvement initiatives, build relationships and work in partnership and collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders. They will support the Quality, Risk & Safety team in leading out on QRS priorities, using innovation and technology to support continuous improvement. The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: • Relevant third level qualification. • Willing to undertake further studies in line with quality management frameworks. • Good data processing and administration experience. • Relevant experience in process improvements. • Project management experience desirable. • Managing staff in line with organizational policies. • Experience of working of the community/voluntary/public sector. • An excellent understanding of regulatory frameworks with the ability to implement in practice across the organization. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Excellent data input skills. • Strong working knowledge of Systems, Databases, Word and Excel. • Excellent organisational, logistical and I.T skills an advantage. • An understanding and commitment to Muiríosa’s Vision, Mission and Values. • The ability to organise own work in order to manage multiple priorities. • The ability to present information clearly, concisely, and confidently when speaking and writing. • The ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to assist performing the role. • The ability to work with the team to facilitate high performance, developing clear and realistic objectives. • Displays professional knowledge and skills in order to undertake role. • Initiative and Motivation. • Work on their own initiative as well as being a team player supporting their colleagues. • Keep up to date with best practice with desire to learn new skills with a continuous improvement attitude. • Flexible and capable of managing competing priorities within their workload. • Excellent attention to detail required • Relevant third level qualification. • Willing to undertake further studies in line with quality management frameworks. The Risk & Safety Officer will promote a positive health and safety culture within the organization and will be part of a dynamic QRS team in the support and implementation of Muiriosa’s strategic priorities.
