Clinical Nurse Manager II, Operational Emergency Department

Purpose of the Role: The Clinical Nurse Manager II has a pivotal role in supporting the CNM III in the co-ordination, strategic planning and management of nursing activities and staff resources within the Emergency department at CHI Temple Street. The post holder will work within a risk management framework to achieve HIQA Safer Better Healthcare standards. The post holder will provide professional and managerial leadership, particularly in the areas of staff development and future planning, ensuring that nursing practices allow the achievement of local, hospital and national objectives in the area of the Paediatric Emergency department. The purpose of this Candidate Clinical Nurse Specialist Lung Cancer The Candidate Clinical Nurse Specialist will work with the multi-professional rapid access lung cancer, surgical, radiation oncology and medical oncology team in the promotion of a patient centred approach to cancer patients and their families. In doing so, he/she will provide nursing expertise, education and a management consultation service to patients, their relatives and members of the multidisciplinary team in all areas of this specialty.
