Research Associate In Digital Sustainability

Purpose of Position: The National College of Ireland is seeking an innovative early career researchers to join the Cloud Competency Centre and contribute to the EU-funded DIGITAL4Sustainability project (https://www.digital4sustainability.eu/). DIGITAL4Sustainability focuses on the intersection of digital technology and sustainability within the ICT industry, aiming to foster European enterprises' transition to more sustainable business practices through advanced digital and green skills. The successful candidate will be affiliated with the Cloud Competency Centre, a research centre dedicated to bridging high-performance computing, parallel processing, open data, and computer security. The Research Associate will be tasked with developing a suite of postgraduate materials that address the emergent needs in digital sustainability. Working closely with European partners, this role contributes to pioneering research and the crafting of an educational framework that empowers professionals to implement effective digital solutions to achieve sustainability goals.
