The HR Director is responsible for leading and managing the HR function both on a strategic and ongoing day to day operational basis. Based in Dublin, with responsibility for HR services and travel remit across Dublin, North Tipperary/Offaly and Limerick, you will be a business facing HR leader, providing proactive support, advice and solutions. You will be responsible for driving the identification of people management priorities and the development of HRM plans and initiatives to support the Service strategy. The HR Director will give leadership direction to the ongoing strategic development and transformation of HR services to support service provision. Reporting to the CEO, the HR Director will ensure the efficient and effective management of all HR operations and services, to deliver the targets set out in the organisation’s strategic plan. Part of the Senior Management Team, the position plays a key role and contributes to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices. Essential: · Significant experience (5 years +) of HR management at a senior level in public sector or Healthcare environment. · Successful track record of planning and delivering major organisational change programs · Solid experience of ER/IR environment, processes and employment law · Demonstrate evidence of effective planning and organizing skills including resource management. · Demonstrate leadership and team management skills including the ability to build relationships and work with Multidisciplinary teams. · Masters qualification in HRM or related subjects · Exceptional interpersonal skills · Demonstrative ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders to achieve results · Full Clean Diving Licence and use of a car Desirable: · Held a senior management role in a healthcare environment similar to intellectual disabilities care environment . · Experience working in a not for profit organisation.
