DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES Central Management Dublin 7 Permanent Full Time 35 hpw Salary €79,797- €99,260 (Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience) Req. 26152 Avista is looking for an energetic, solution focused person who can lead out on Human Resources nationally. The HR Director is responsible for leading and managing the HR function both on a strategic and ongoing day to day operational basis. Based in Dublin, with responsibility for HR services and travel remit across Dublin, North Tipperary/Offaly and Limerick, you will be a business facing HR leader, providing proactive support, advice and solutions. You will be responsible for driving the identification of people management priorities and the development of HRM plans and initiatives to support the Service strategy. The HR Director will give leadership direction to the ongoing strategic development and transformation of HR services to support service provision. Reporting to the CEO, the HR Director will ensure the efficient and effective management of all HR operations and services, to deliver the targets set out in the organisation’s strategic plan. Part of the Senior Management Team, the position plays a key role and contributes to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices. The right candidate will hold strong values and believe passionately in the fundamental human rights of each individual to live a good life of their own choosing, with appropriate supports.
