SOCIAL CARE WORKER Laois Day Services Fixed Term 12 month Contract (78 hours per fortnight) Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm We are recruiting for the position of Social Care Worker to work as part of a dynamic team supporting Individuals within the Laois Day Services. The successful candidates will be provided with the opportunity to support individuals with independent living skills, community inclusion and the promotion of their personal health and wellbeing. They will be given the opportunities and resources to encourage and motivate individuals in pursuing their personal interests and life goals. We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Social Care Worker to support, encourage and motivate individuals to lead a fulfilling life. Requirements: · Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications), Please note social care candidates must be registered with or eligible to register with CORU by November 2025. · Experience of delivering quality supports with achievable outcomes; · Knowledge of New Directions Interim Standards and Person Centred Plans; · Excellent organisational, logistical and I.T skills an advantage; · Knowledge and Experience in Autism · Lone working/Individual Support; · Full Current Driving Licence; · Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role. SUPPORT WORKER LAOIS DAY SERVICES FIXED TERM 12 MONTH CONTRACT (72 Hours per Fortnight) We are seeking to recruit a motivated, creative, calm and energetic Support Worker with excellent communication skills to join our Adult Laois Day Services team. The focus of this role will be to support people to realise their vision to leading a good life through Person Centred approaches in line with personal interests, skills, will and preference. Key to this role will be the ability to support people to become connected with their community, provide new experiences, skills teaching and opportunities to develop relationships and to develop meaningful valued social roles.
