Incremental credit is normally granted on appointment, in respect of previous experience in the Civil Service, Local Authorities, Health Service and other Public Service Bodies and Statutory Agencies. Kerry’s Animal Performance Solutions is a dedicated division that focus on the development and commercialization, globally, of specialty feed ingredients for monogastric and ruminant nutrition. About the role As part of the Animal Performance Solutions team, the position of RD&A Animal Nutrition Scientist will be based in Kerry Global Technology and Innovation Centre in Naas (Ireland) will have the following mission: to analyze, interpret and communicate clinical data; contributing and participating as a scientist in all areas of the company that require this deep knowledge. The primary task is to investigate the role of various Kerry technologies in improving animal performance and/or health and to transfer that information to the industry in a manner that will generate commercial interest. The position will involve working relationship with customers, contract research organizations (CRO) and academia at multiple levels. The position may require some travel to support these relationships, attend scientific forums/tradeshows and/or customers. The successful candidate will achieve targets expressed in terms of developing a rationale for the use of Kerry products in improving animal performance and health leading to commercial opportunities, and ensuring the development and execution of the R&D roadmap supporting the business.
