Role: Senior Grade Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Location: The successful candidate will have the choice of working in Tullamore, Mullingar or Monasterevin Tenure: Permanent (Part-time, 0.5 WTE) – 35 hours per fortnight This is an exciting new service development within the Muiriosa Foundation. The successful candidate will become a key member of an evolving psychological services team led by the Principal Psychology Manager. We are establishing an interdisciplinary team to provide psychological supports to the Person Centred Wing. The person appointed will work as part of the psychology team and in close collaboration with other clinicians in providing psychological assessment, formulation and a range of interventions to supports to adults with intellectual disabilities and Autistic adults with high support needs. The Muiriosa Foundation promotes a human rights-based approach. Psychologists develop evidence-informed, and values led, interventions collaboratively with the person supported, following comprehensive assessment of each person’s strengths, needs and within the context of their environment. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours depending on the needs of the individuals supported and their circles of support. The office base is negotiable – Tullamore, Mullingar or Monasterevin. The Senior Psychologist will: · Develop a psychological service for people supported by the Person-Centred Wing under the direction of the Principal Clinical Psychologist. · Contribute to the delivery and future developments of an effective psychology service in line with organisational priorities and objectives and within established professional standards, guidelines, and policy · Work with senior management and the Person-Centred Wing Project Manager to ensure co-ordinated and comprehensive service delivery to, and effective communication with, all stakeholders. · Contribute to service planning, development, evaluation, and quality initiatives.
