The role As a store manager, you’re responsible for assisting the brand leader in managing and motivating your team to deliver an exceptional brand experience to our customers. Your role will also oversee and provide knowledge, leadership and support to stylist team members responding to first line customer enquiries via our online customer service system. The role will involve great time management, resilience, multitasking and determination to ensure that in store customer journey, the financial targets and delivery of business critical updates all happen appropriately. Leadership of your team of floor managers and stylists will be a key part of how you spend your time, upskilling and equipping team members with the commercial skills to succeed and deliver sales targets, as well as exceptional service that makes our customers feel amazing. Kitchen Assistant
Main purpose of the role: Provide efficient and effective support to the chef and other employees in the Kitchen department. The ideal candidate will have/be: • A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers • HACCP training is beneficial but not essential • Excellent communication skills • The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Main purpose of the role: Responsible for the preparation of high quality hot and cold deli products and for ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority. The ideal candidate will have/be: • HACCP training is desirable but not necessary • Excellent communication skills • Previous customer service experience is an advantage • The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi task under pressure • A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers. Main purpose of the role: Ensure the Checkout Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our customers with excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have/be: - 2 years` experience in a retail role is desirable • Ability to balance tills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to engage with and prioritise customer needs • Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Main Duties: • Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative • Use a computerised till system that has a barcode scanner • Weigh and price products such as fruit and vegetables • Check customers` ages for restrictions on items such as alcohol • Pack customer`s purchases • Process store loyalty cards, coupons and vouchers • Take payments and make sure the till balances at the end of the day • Spend time away from the till, stocking shelves and checking stock • Merchandise and present the department to the highest standard at all times • Attend and engage in team meetings and implement any learnings
Shop Floor Assistant
Main purpose of the role: Merchandise, rotate and face off all stock in assigned department while maintaining hygiene and food standards. The ideal candidate will have/be: • Excellent communication skills; • Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible; • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team; Main duties: • Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative; • Process orders for various departments; • Merchandise and present the entire store to the highest standard at all times; • Liaise with the Store Manager on changes to layouts, ends and sides and ensure changes are correctly implemented; • Implement correct labelling and stock rotation procedures; • Ensure deliveries are checked off in line with goods inwards procedures. • Keep the back-store tidy and packed away.
