Our need We are seeking to appoint a Warehouse and Shipping Manager on a permanent basis to oversee evening and night shift operations comprising approximately 70+ personnel, distributed across both Warehouse and Shipping functions. The Warehouse & Shipping Manager will be responsible for overseeing all Warehouse and Shipping activities, ensuring full GxP compliance, adherence to procedural controls, maintenance of health and safety standards, and the delivery of exemplary customer service. Furthermore, the postholder will ensure that distribution orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, guaranteeing that materials reach their intended destinations as required and under appropriate shipping conditions. This role will primarily be based on an evening shift work pattern, working hours are 1530 – 2330 Monday to Friday. Some night shift coverage will also be required (2330 – 0730), on a one week in six basis. The person Previous experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry is not essential as the company will provide a comprehensive on-the-job onboarding and training schedule.
