In this role, you will act as a guide to your partners investigating the financial impact of new initiatives, efficiency measures and growth strategies. You will help them understand their financial performance by providing insight, while supporting and challenging them in equal measure. You will need to be adept at building relationships with your key stakeholders in Finance and the wider business and will play a key role in shaping future strategies, and as our business continues to grow. Our Regulatory backstory, the backbone to our success: Life Scientific was founded in 1995 based on the belief that excelling at one specific element of the registration process could be the basis for growing a global crop protection business. A capability was built, rooted in deep off-patent CPP regulatory knowledge, fully integrated with chemistry. Over time, the capability extended to end-to-end product development and registration for PPP. LS established a competitive advantage in off patent crop protection in Europe based on this capability. The capability has continued to expand to support the growth of the business and to respond to the ever-changing complexity of the EUR regulatory environment and increasing competitive pressures. Regulatory barriers include inconsistent interpretation of registration rules between markets and shifting Annexe 1 Renewal timelines and requirements. With a mix of office work in Tirlan, Citywest, Dublin, and remote work, you’ll collaborate closely with the B2B Customer Manager, Digital Accounts Executive, Doorstep Team, and various stakeholders to enhance our services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and people skills, be self-motivated, and have excellent computer literacy. A high proficiency in Excel, including V-Lookup and Pivot Tables, along with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, is essential. Financial Accountant
The Role We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant within the support services function joining our team of experienced, motivated, and high performing finance professionals. The Financial Accountant will be required to support the UK&I Financial Controller in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of the financial and operational performance of the UK&I region. The Financial Accountant will support the continuous drive for business growth and identify opportunities for improvements.
