The Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager with maximizing guest satisfaction by ensuring guest bookings are confirmed, gives work direction to wait staff and takes opportunities to upsell in Maxwell’s Grill Room Restaurant, the Cedars Rooms Restaurant and Afternoon Tea. This is a management role that requires people management skills, experience of driving food service, guest satisfaction and motivation of waiting staff in order to achieve the goals of the restaurant. The Ideal Candidate will: · Be experienced in supervising a team · Have experience of working to high food safety standards · Be experienced in coaching wait staff to excellent service and guest satisfaction levels. . Process equipment includes various types of pumps, valves, fans, centrifugal separators, decanters and packaging systems • Work in a good manufacturing practice (GMP) environment. • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures, including the use of the appropriate protective clothing. • Under senior craft supervision you will be working with equipment such as milling machines, lathes, drills, welding plants, hand tools and other portable equipment. • Assist with fault finding on the various systems that we operate on site such as pasteurisers, evaporators, drying systems, material transport systems and utility systems as part of a team and as an individual. • Liaise with production staff in job execution. • Provide accurate reporting as necessary, including the use of computer maintenance system. College Group was founded in 1989 and currently operates from three state-of-the-art sites; Nobber in Meath, Monnery in Cavan and Newry in Down. We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Process Operator to join the Production Team in our Rendering Plant based in Farragh in Monnery, County Cavan. This position will be an integral part of our operation and will work to maximize efficiency and support delivery of key performance indicators.
