GRADE:  7 JOB PURPOSE: To manage the Irish Travellers Policy unit, and to lead out and manage the delivery of the Housing Executive’s Irish Travellers Accommodation Strategy 2021/26 and associated five year Action Plan. To take a leading role on the accommodation needs for Irish Travellers in Northern Ireland. REQUIREMENTS: 1. i) Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent level qualification (Level 6*) qualification and demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience* OR ii) Candidates must hold a HND or equivalent level qualification (Level 5*) and demonstrate a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience OR iii) Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development of experiential learning and demonstrate at least 5 years’ relevant experience* (Please include dates) It will be the responsibility of the applicant to demonstrate equivalency.  Relevancy will be determined with due regard to the duties and level of responsibilities set out in the job description for this role. *Refer to Qualifications Framework for equivalencies APPLICATION PROCESS Application should be made using the on-line application form.
