BAND: Band 4 (To progress to Band 5 on completion of Year 2 of programme and Band 6 on completion of full programme) JOB PURPOSE: To successfully complete a 3 year development programme within our Project Delivery Department, gaining experience in a broad range of work and projects including completion of training and a relevant qualification. To support the Housing Executive’s Maintenance Programmes, assisting in the delivery of effective maintenance works. This will include supporting the effective commercial management of NIHE's assets, of high-quality works and compliance related investment. To assist in the delivery of a high-quality customer focused and cost-effective Asset Management service to the NIHE’s tenants. To contribute to the provision of a modern, professional and responsive service to support NIHE business delivery and our vision and values. REQUIREMENTS: 1. i) Possess a Built environment/Construction Post Graduate Qualification or equivalent Level 7* qualification (or will attain on graduation in Summer 2025**) OR ii) Possess a second-class or higher degree (must be clearly detailed on application form), or equivalent qualification (or will attain on graduation in Summer 2025**), in one of the following subjects: *Refer to Qualifications Framework for equivalencies **Proof of achieving the relevant qualification will be required prior to appointment APPLICATION PROCESS Application should be made using the on-line application form. Locations Trainee
Craft & Technical Trainee Locations: 24 Month Fixed Term, May 2025 – April 2027 Job Summary Job Title: Craft & Technical Trainee - Locations Duration: 24 months Start Date: May 2025 Hours: 60 hrs per week Salary: Real Living Wage (currently £12.60 per hour) Job Description The Locations Trainee offers support to The Locations Department who manage the day to day running of filming sites. This support may include helping to cordon off areas, providing signage directing crew to unit base/set and advising crew as to on-site arrangements such as parking. The locations trainee will communicate with members of the public, when filming in public areas. On wrap, they will help to pack up and remove all rubbish from location, ensuring that the filming site is left as it was found. Where is it based? The scheme will be based in various locations across Northern Ireland and participants will be expected to base themselves in Northern Ireland for the duration of the scheme. Depending on the scope and scale of production, the Art Department Trainee’s role might include administrative/runner duties, research, or helping to design and make models for the Art Director. During production, they might assist the standby Art Director with any issues that may arise during filming. Where is it based?
