Craft & Technical Trainee Locations: 24 Month Fixed Term, May 2025 – April 2027 Job Summary Job Title: Craft & Technical Trainee - Locations Duration: 24 months Start Date: May 2025 Hours: 60 hrs per week Salary: Real Living Wage (currently £12.60 per hour) Job Description The Locations Trainee offers support to The Locations Department who manage the day to day running of filming sites. This support may include helping to cordon off areas, providing signage directing crew to unit base/set and advising crew as to on-site arrangements such as parking. The locations trainee will communicate with members of the public, when filming in public areas. On wrap, they will help to pack up and remove all rubbish from location, ensuring that the filming site is left as it was found. Where is it based? The scheme will be based in various locations across Northern Ireland and participants will be expected to base themselves in Northern Ireland for the duration of the scheme. Depending on the scope and scale of production, the Art Department Trainee’s role might include administrative/runner duties, research, or helping to design and make models for the Art Director. During production, they might assist the standby Art Director with any issues that may arise during filming. Where is it based?
