Cuirfidh Bord Oideachais agus Oiliúna na Gaillimhe agus Ros Comáin (GRETB) fáilte roimh iarratais ó dhaoine a bhfuil na cáilíochtaí cuí acu agus ar mian leo a bheith measta do an post seo a leanas: Airíoch,Scoil Náisiúnta Phobail Chuan na Gaillimhe, Cnoc na Cathrach, Gaillimh Sealadach agus Páirtaimseartha (5 uair) Déan tagairt le do thoil don leabhrán eolais chun tuilleadh eolais a fháil Galway & Roscommon Education & Training Board (GRETB) invites applications from suitably qualified individuals wishing to be considered for the following position: Caretaker, Cuan na Gaillimhe Community National School, Knocknacarra, Galway Hours: 5 hours per week Contract Type: Temporary Part-Time Hourly Rate: €17.28 – New Entrant – CL0075/2024 The duties attached to the post of Caretakerare, inter alia, as follows: a) To care for the school premises and contents and to prevent, as far as possible, any damage to structure, furniture, equipment and fittings; b) General maintenance such as waste and composting processing and management; c) To keep the school premises, furniture, fittings in a clean and safe condition; d) To act as a key holder and respond to fire and burglar alarms: e) To keep in a clean condition all glass in doors, windows, etc., where same is accessible without the use of long ladders; f) To see to the heating of the building during the cold period of the year and to maintain the central heating systems in good working order; g) Monitor oil and energy (gas, electricity) usage h) To keep in safe custody the keys of all rooms in the buildings and to ensure that no unauthorised persons shall have access to any part of the buildings; i) To open and close the centre as directed by the Principal; j) To be responsible, under the supervision of the Principal, for the planting, care and maintenance (cutting of grass, strimming etc.) of the centre grounds and to prevent trespass thereon; k) To note and arrange for the receipt of stores, timber, iron, parcels of class and other materials for general use, and for the transfer of stores, equipment and similar transactions; l) To carry out any minor repairs which may be necessary from time to time and to touch up any breaches in paint on walls, furniture, etc. m) To check equipment etc. and report missing or broken tools or furniture. n) To observe and to assist with updating as required the Galway & Roscommon Education & Training Board Policy Statement of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work in general and in particular the responsibilities of Caretaker.

BROTHERS OF CHARITY SERVICES IRELAND – WEST REGION TEMPORARY FULL-TIME NATIONAL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ICT DEPARTMENT - NATIONAL JOB REF: 73468 Introduction: The Brothers of Charity is a religious voluntary organisation founded in 1807 by Canon Peter Triest to provide a Christian response to a variety of needs in society. The Brothers of Charity Services Ireland (BOCSI) operates in the regions of Galway, Limerick, Cork, Waterford, Tipperary, Clare and Roscommon with 4500+ staff providing services to over 8000 individuals, and has an annual budget of approximately €220M. Background to the role: Over the past 5 years, BOCSI has centralised its primary information technology infrastructure and business application systems (Finance, Human Resources and Client Management Systems). All in-house applications are sitting on a common centralised infrastructure. BOCSI ICT has a strong tradition of developing applications in-house in conjunction with our business partners across Client Services, HR and Finance. In addition to this we also engage with external vendors in the use of specialist SAAS software applications, particularly in the area of Facilities Management and Learning Management. All application development is carried by a team of application developers/analysts who are aligned to each of the business units. The next stage in our digital transformation is the definition of our master data model, this will involve a tightening of data linkages across all business units within the organisation. In addition to this there a number of pipelined application projects that need to be undertaken over the next year including Digital Time & Attendance System, Dynamic Reporting, API Integration with external systems (Facilities/Recruitment) and full roll out of digital eForms across the organisation, amongst others. Reporting To/ Responsible To: Chief Information Officer (CIO). Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Working Hours: The normal working week will be a 70-hour fortnight; however, flexible hours including weekends and evenings are occasionally involved. Starting and finishing times will be notified to, and agreed with, the appointee from time to time by the Chief Information Officer.The successful candidate must be available for on call situations that may arise from time to time. These times may be outside ‘normal’ operational times and must be approved by your manager. Location: The role can be based in any of our regional offices which include Waterford, Cork, Limerick, Clare, Galway and Roscommon. Occasional travel to our National Head Office in Clarinbridge, Co Galway will be a requirement.
