HSE Manager

Genesis Bakery are now recruiting for a HS&E Manager to work on site at our Magherafelt site. In this role you will be leading in the continued development of Health, Safety and Environmental strategy and standards throughout the company to ensure that they are embedded within the organisation. You will also be responsible for setting the strategic framework for the management of these standards and for continuous improvement. You will be providing technical guidance on all Health, Safety and Environmental matters, identifying and advising on current and future requirements and ensuring that systems, policies and processes are in place to support the continuing development of a high level HSE culture across the organisation. Genesis Bakery has been manufacturing artisanal, high quality baked goods since 1968. The annual turnover is in excess of £20m with a workforce of over 200. Our products are sold in more than 500 stores across Northern Ireland and we also produce a range of bread and cakes for many of the UK’s largest and most prestigious retailers.
