Cook - Part Time
Cook- Part time- Holly House, Dollingstown, Lurgan Our award-winning nursery, Holly House, is seeking an experienced Cook to join their team. This is a part time position, working 18 hours per week across 2 days on a rota basis between 8am-4pm. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in the children’s daily activities as well as their health and nutrition. Lecturer/assessor Register
Part-time Lecturers assist with the delivery/assessment for full and part-time courses across a range of curriculum areas. Supplementing our core delivery team, we are looking for individuals that can provide our students with a quality learning experience, bringing with them their skills and expertise from a wide range of industries. Candidates who are successfully appointed to the Part-time Lecturer/Assessor Register 2024-25 will remain on this register for a period of two academic calendar years from the date they were appointed. There is no guarantee of work, however, if work becomes available the hours of work will vary based on the business needs of the college. The post holder will be required to adopt a flexible approach as teaching hours will be required at various times including the possibility of some evening work. Learning Support Mentor Register
The Learning Support Mentor will have responsibility for providing 1:1 mentoring support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. He/she will be required to undertake a range of tasks associated with supporting learners on a range of full time and part time Higher Education and Further Education courses. The Learning Support Mentor will provide support, motivation, and guidance to help students overcome obstacles to their learning which may include learning difficulties and/or disabilities, family issues, mental health problems or a lack of confidence. * This is an application to the Permanent Learning Support Register. Applicants have the potential to be offered up to 36 hours per week during term time. Student requirements are confirmed at beginning of the Academic year at which point employees will be given an indication of their hours for that incoming Academic year. Dispenser
We have an excellent opportunity for a qualified Part Time Dispenser to work in our Waringstown branch for approximately 9-12 months to cover a period of Maternity Leave. Working 28 hours per week, between the hours of 10am to 2.30pm Tuesday, 9am to 5.30pm Wednesday, 9am to 6.30pm Thursday and 9am to 5.30pm Friday. Additional hours may be required from time to time. Working as part of a team duties can include; sales of over the counter medicines, providing customers with information on symptoms and products, prescription receipt and collection, date checking, and the ordering, receiving and storing of pharmaceutical stock. Firefighter ON-CALL, Fire Station
Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) wish to invite applications for On-Call Firefighters in the following station: Comber Fire Station On-Call Firefighters play a critical role in protecting the local community and many of our fire stations depend on the contribution of our part time firefighters to ensure we can respond to emergency calls. This is a worthwhile and rewarding role providing an opportunity to work as part of a team, receive excellent training and develop a wide range of skills and experience. In order to fulfil the role you will need to meet the required standard of physical fitness and be able to meet a range of other criteria including the ability to respond to emergency calls by attending the fire station within 5 minutes of being alerted and the ability to attend a mandatory 2 hour drill night each week. Your availability to respond to calls is critical to this role and you will need to be available for a minimum of either 40 hours, 90 hours or 100 hours each week, depending upon the contract you wish to apply for. Fitness Associate, Sports Centre
