Vacancies exists for a number part-time and full time Staff Nurse positions in St Michaels Day Services The successful candidates will: · Have a RNID qualification and be presently registered and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Other nursing disciplines can apply if they have at least 1-year continuous experience in working with people with an intellectual disability in a community setting. This experience must be recorded on your CV. · Have continuous experience in the area of intellectual disability, case management of complex health needs and positive behaviour support · Be knowledgeable on Interim New Directions · As a nurse within St Michaels House, be committed to the provision of a quality individualised service and to the principles of working in partnership with service users · Be committed to working as part of a team Why work with St Michaels House? Desirable requirements: - Experience developing relevant educational material including course delivery, lecturing etc - Advanced CPD and/ or postgraduate education in relevant area(s). - Experience in managing databases and conducting audits.
