The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of the project, including recruitment and training of Peer Educators, workshop delivery, stakeholder engagement, and contribute to the project evaluation. Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Essential Criteria • A relevant 3rd level qualification in the Health Sector e.g. Social Care or Social Work, Physiotherapist, Speech & Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate must be registered with CORU • Minimum of five years’ experience working in disability services, preferably with experience of advocacy, training, or safeguarding. • Demonstrated experience in facilitating training or workshops with people with intellectual disabilities. • Strong understanding of safeguarding principles, risk management, and rights-based practice. • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams. • Experience in applied research or evaluation within social care, disability, or education contexts. • Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport. The Role: The role of support worker is to assist the people who use our service to meet their day to day needs, reach their full potential, promote independence and to be an active part of their the local community.
