Senior Occupational Therapist In Burns And Hand Therapy Service
The purpose of this role is to provide a high quality Occupational Therapy service to the children and adolescents under the medical specialities of Burns, Plastics and Orthopaedic Hands. The post holder will work as part of the cross-site CHI Occupational Therapy - Burns and Hand Therapy team with main clinical duties based within CHI at Temple Street. On occasion this may also involve travelling to other CHI sites to support clinics. Our Service - BreastCheck (The National Breast Screening Programme) BreastCheck – The National Breast Screening Programme - plays a central role in diagnosis and management of breast cancer in Ireland, providing free mammograms every two years to women aged 50 to 69. Survival has improved because of screening, symptomatic detection and improved treatment options. As a Mammographer, you will be closely involved with both the quality of the outcome of the service and each woman’s satisfaction with the service. Purpose of the role: Disability and Outreach Officer The Disability and Outreach Officer will work within the Student Experience Department and will have responsibility for the overall management of the Student Learning Support Service, provided by the National Learning Network, and the Assistive Technology service, ensuring that students with disabilities are supported. They will manage post entry support for students, including those who progress through the Higher Education Access Route, HEAR, pathway. They will be responsible for the coordination of NCAD’s dynamic and nationally recognised outreach programme. NCAD Outreach partners with linked primary and secondary schools, community organisations and HEIs to bring the work of NCAD into the wider community through an innovative programme of creative arts outreach initiatives.
