Retail Assistant

In this role you will be the face of The Range delivering great service and promoting The Range as a unique one-stop shopping experience. What are we looking for? The emphasis will be on service. This is not just a standing filling shelves type of job. Divisional Retail Trainer
Are you passionate about training and development, with a knack for delivering engaging and effective learning experiences? We are looking for a Divisional Retail Trainer to join our team, based in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. If you have optical and training experience, this could be the perfect role for you! In this role, you will deliver a comprehensive colleague training programme to stores across Northern Ireland and Ireland. You will manage stakeholders within stores and the support office, ensuring that training needs are met and performance is enhanced. By combining different learning techniques, you will provide an effective and engaging learning experience for all colleagues. You will facilitate development topics and review the development needs across the stores, providing tailored solutions to build better performance. Working closely with the L&D team and RST team, you will attend and deliver content at national events, providing guidance and coaching to in-store trainers, to ensure stores achieve great performance. You’ll also work with the Apprenticeship Team to ensure OFSTED standards are adhered to, maintaining high standards of training and development. Main purpose of the role: Manage and motivate your team, ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively and to provide our customers with the very best customer service experience at all times. The ideal candidate will have/be: - 2 years` experience in a customer service facing role is desirable • Excellent communication skills • The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi task under pressure • The ability to organise work, delegate responsibilities and support team members in the store. Deli Supervisor
Main purpose of the role: Ensure the Deli Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provides our customers with excellent quality products and services. The ideal candidate will have/be: • Minimum 1 years` fresh food supervisory experience; • Minimum 2 years` experience in a role with strong exposure to fresh food; • Fully trained in HACCP and food safety, and has experience in meeting the HACCP and food safety requirements; • Experience in ordering for deli departments and managing waste within a fresh food department; • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); • Numerical skills; • Ability to roster and adhere to budgets; • Excellent communication skills; • Have a true passion for the food industry and as such be creative and innovative with the fresh offering; • Customer focused manager who can build a quality and loyal customer base; • The ability to inspire, lead and motivate employees through support and development.
