The successful candidate will play an essential role in our large fast paced warehouse operation. Warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential. We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities · Carrying out the daily order picking + dispatching of goods. · Unloading containerized goods on a daily basis. · Barcoding and scanning all stock movements from goods in to dispatch. · Understand, implement, and carry out all Company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety standards. Skills and Qualifications · Experience in a busy warehouse is an advantage but more important is that the candidate demonstrates initiative and an aptitude to learn quickly. · Current forklift licence for reach and counter balance (if not, training will be provided). · Current manual handling certificate (if not, training will be provided). · Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when loading and unloading goods. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Please note that this role will require a significant amount of manual handling and is physically demanding as heavy lifting is involved on a daily basis. Deli Chef / Cook
Main purpose of the role: Ensure the food production area operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our customers with excellent products. The ideal candidate will have/be: - 2 years` experience in a role with an indepth experiencein fresh food and food preparation • Experience in successfully achieving sales targets and KPIs • Fully trained in HACCP and food safety, and has experience in meeting the HACCP and food safety requirements • Stocktaking experience • Have a true passion for the food industry and be creative and innovative with the fresh offering • Customer focused and can build a quality and loyal customer base Main duties: -Actively liveCentra brand-values i.e. Proud, Energetic, Imaginative and Community-Based -Cook, prepare and display the food throughout the day -Finish all orders to the highest standard -Support the smooth running of food production operations -Carry out stock takes and support the working out of the cost price for product and portion control -Assist in the induction, training and development of staff in the food production area -Attend any training or development programmes as directed by store management.

The ideal candidate will have/be: - 2 years` experience in a Fresh Food Department is desirable - 1 years` experience in a Supervisor/Manager role is desirable • Excellent communication skills • Good delegation skills • An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets • Passion for fresh food.
