We are looking for Warehouse Operatives who are ambitious and match our values (trust, respect, responsibility, and recognition). Your role will be varied, picking in all of our different product categories. We can provide set days off to support your work life balance and a training plan which will get you up to speed. We rely heavily on your input and effort and in return you will receive a competitive hourly rate! What you'll do • Flexible shifts. National Careers Advisor
Job Role We're looking for exceptional people to join our amazing National Careers Service Team, as either a trainee or a qualified Careers Adviser. We’re looking for people who like helping people. You may come from a sales, teaching or recruitment background or have some experience in delivering careers advice and enjoy working in a target focussed environment. We’re not looking for someone who ticks every single box, but we’d love you to have an engaging personality to provide a warm and welcoming experience for our customers. You’ll need a can-do attitude to seek out solutions to help our customers to progress their careers. You’ll need to be flexible as every day is different in National Careers Service. As a Careers Adviser you’ll make our customers feel welcome and comfortable when they attend our service. You’ll need to be able to engage with customers from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. You’ll hold 1-1 appointments and group workshops in a wide range of settings, including careers fairs, community and commercial venues along with one-off pop-ups. You'll also need to be organised to manage your diary and complete admin tasks, plus be confident using IT for delivery and admin tasks. The role is targeted, to enable us to achieve targets that are agreed with our commissioners. We need your skills to empower and encourage customers to develop a career skills action plan and support them in their learning and development whilst monitoring their progress to build their confidence throughout their journey to successfully starting work, learning or both. We provide on the job training and will support you to achieve your Level 4 Certificate in Careers Information and Guidance if you do not currently hold this qualification. Job Role Join our Restart team as an Employer Account Executive This is an employer-facing role which requires engagement with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and co-design a routeway into employment for participants across a range of programmes delivered by our employability teams. The role will enable you to create strong relationships in order to promote inclusive employment practices, such as Disability Confident, work trials and working interviews, with a focus on meeting employer expectations. This helps us realise our strong commitment to delivering social value as it enables us and employers the opportunity to maximise their impact on supporting the long term unemployed back to work. Our foundation is the strength of our people and their expertise, insight and determination to change the lives of those they support. Therefore, our ideal candidate would have experience in engagement and account management. You’ll help us identify new and existing opportunities and take responsibility for generating business leads with potential employers through a range of approaches including telephone contact, face to face meetings and delivering presentations. You’ll have experience of setting up online campaigns working with group marketing and communications using multiple channels, particularly social media would be advantageous. We’re however primarily looking for the right attitude and aptitude in a candidate and are open to various different backgrounds and experiences.
