About us Kirk House is “Housing with Care” facility in which independence, freedom of choice, self-esteem and dignity are respected and promoted. Residents are supported to maintain links with their family and local community; and the level of care each receives is tailored to meet their individual needs. Kirk House is situated in landscaped grounds, it comprises of 42 individual flatlets, four of which are designed for couples and two for disabled residents. On wing provides safe and supportive accommodation for nine residents with dementia, providing a pioneering approach to dementia design with a homely feel to make residents more comfortable, independent and reduce confusion. Your new role You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide the high-quality care to our residents. Using a person-centred approach, you will support a wide variety of residents with all aspects of their day to day living, including social and physical activities, personal care, mobility, and mealtimes. Heavy Plant Operator
About Us One of Britain and Ireland’s largest sawmills, Balcas is a leading timber products supplier and has pioneered biomass renewable energy in the British Isles. The business has grown organically, and through acquisition and investment in the latest processing technologies. Balcas’ timber products portfolio includes construction timber, fencing and landscaping products and pallet and packaging material. Balcas has led the development of the market for wood pellet fuel in Ireland and Britain. Balcas operates biomass Combined Heat and Power plants that produce renewable energy. Residual heat from electricity generation is used to dry locally sourced woodfibre that is then processed into high-energy fuel pellets, displacing 750 million litres of oil in homes, commercial premises and industry. Purpose of the Job As a member of a small team, the job holder will assist with stockpiling logs/residues and keeping the different mills on site supplied with logs. Regeneration, Business Support And Development Officer
