Position Overview

We are seeking a Web Development Associate to join our Web Design Agency. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients with website and e-commerce technical queries. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and supporting a growing portfolio of websites, ensuring client satisfaction and technical excellence.

This is a full-time position with a hybrid working model, offering the flexibility of working from home alongside occasional on-site work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for websites and e-commerce platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client issues related to websites, hosting, and email.
  • Assist with website development, updates, and maintenance, primarily using WordPress and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to diagnose and address technical problems.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus and deliver high-quality service.

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in or knowledge of web development, particularly WordPress, or recent graduation from a web development program.
  • Familiarity with PHP, MySQL (LAMP stack), CSS, WooCommerce, third-party plugins, and hosting.
  • Basic understanding of internet fundamentals (e.g., DNS, IP addresses).
  • Basic knowledge of email troubleshooting; training will be provided.
  • Strong problem-solving and web troubleshooting abilities.
  • A proactive “can-do” attitude with a strong desire to learn and progress.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of development.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
