EZ Living Interiors are recruiting a full-time Warehouse Supervisor based from our Distribution Centre, in Little Island, Cork.

If you are enthusiastic, hardworking and have prior Warehousing experience, then this will be the ideal opportunity for you to join an Irish-owned, Family-run expanding company.

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for inspecting and verifying products returning back into inventory. Verifying and inspecting all documentation, reports and records relating to product returns. Liaise with relevant personnel regarding reconciling quantities of returned goods. This role requires an overall responsibility of the waste management processes for the Distribution Centre, including but not limited to ensuring correct disposal of the companies waste, which is primarily dry waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily clearing out of the vans and trucks, ensuring the vehicles are ready to go for the following day.
  • Responsibility for ensuring correct disposal of dry waste in-line with the company’s policies and procedures. Company’s waste is dry, of mostly plastics, and cardboard.
  • Responsible for duties of removing returned items from our vehicles, such as Mattresses, etc. These items will be wrapped in protective materials. This role requires arranging correct removal of these items, organising skips etc.
  • Making sure no delivery was left in the truck and informing the appropriate people if there was.
  • Assist with the Warehouse team on a daily basis with picking, loading and unloading of stock throughout the Warehouse.
  • Assist with delegating tasks to Warehouse team, and communicate effectively with Warehouse Management regarding the progress and/or completion of said tasks.
  • Inspect and verify products and merchandise worth returning back into inventory.
  • Assist in the general physical activities of the warehouse to include off-loading and generally moving returns. As well as delegating to the wider warehouse team to assist in such duties.
  • Assist in the general administration of the warehouse and using the computer system for returns process etc, goods in/out, dealing with documentation, raising stock discrepancies, asset tagging, producing labels, assisting with stock management, organising couriers, providing support and assistance to customers, helping to resolve complaints and enquiries.
  • Assisting with overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff.
  • At times, assist within the furniture assembly department.
  • From time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.
  • Assist with additional ad hoc duties, in line with this role

The ideal candidatemust have the desire, hunger and drive to join a growing business. They must have experience in a fast-paced warehouse. If the successful candidate excels in their role, there is scope for considerable growth within our business.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, highly desirable.
  • Experience in a waste management processes.
  • Experience in returns process, and/or stock management.
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and from own initiative.
  • Requisite knowledge of returns, the equipment and processes common to the role.
  • Ability to demonstrate time management and task management skills.
