What You’ll Do as a Travel Coordinator

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Travel Management & Traveller Support: Plan, organize, and manage travel arrangements for colleagues, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies.
  • Policy and Compliance: Ensure all travel arrangements adhere to company policies and proactively monitor compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Data, Analysis & Content Duties: Maintain accurate travel records, prepare and analyse travel reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to offer solutions on spend.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with travel vendors, manage contracts, and launch new vendors within the business.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improving travel management processes and stay informed about industry trends and new developments.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in travel management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; problem-solving skills and proactive approach to handling travel issues.
  • Solution-focused mindset with proven ability to manage sensitive matters confidentially.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, strong attention to detail, ability to analyse high volumes of data, and resilience to adapt to changing business needs.
